What is a Domain Health Score?

A domain health score is an instant audit of your domain's DNS and email configuration. Our tool checks 8 critical record types and assigns each one a weighted score. The final score out of 100 tells you how well your domain is configured for email delivery, security and web presence.

Why does my domain health score matter?

A low score means your domain likely has missing email authentication records (SPF, DMARC, DKIM) which causes emails to land in spam or allows domain impersonation. A score above 85 means your domain is well configured for both deliverability and security.

FAQ

Is a score of 75 good? Grade B — your domain has the basics covered but is likely missing DKIM or AAAA records.

Can I get a perfect 100? Yes — you need MX, SPF, DMARC, DKIM, A, AAAA, NS and TXT records all configured correctly.

How often should I check? After any DNS changes, and at least once a month as routine maintenance.
